
About the Student Ombudsman
The Student Ombudsman is available for all students at Lund University and offers free support for study-related concerns.
The Student Ombudsman helps to ensure the University is fulfilling its legal obligation to see that Lund University’s students receive an education free from discrimination or unfair treatment. Maybe you feel misjudged on an exam, have questions about the role of your supervisor or experience that your schedule is constantly changing. Or it may be that you feel mistreated during lectures or discriminated against by a professor.
The student Ombudsman will give advice and information on how to make your complaint or how to proceed based on your problem. Regardless of your dilemma, the Student Ombudsman can assist with guidance and information, initiate an informal investigation into an issue and/or act as your representative or mediator in contact with the University.
All students at Lund university can seek out and get advice from the Student Ombudsman free of charge. Since the Student Ombudsman has a duty of confidentiality, nothing is passed on, unless you as a student explicitly request it.
No question or problem is too big or small for the Student Ombudsman so do not hesitate to get in touch!
